Embracing Failure

Let’s face it, failure sucks

No man with a sane mind wants it

But life is full of failures

So might as well embrace it

And come to think of it, it’s not that bad

Can learn a lot from it

So brace for impact, oh my sweet summer child

Do not fear failure, embrace it

It’s time to put on my old dusty “TRY HARD” helmet back

Learning Guitar (again)

So this year i’m picking up my old dusty guitar (Yamaha F350 that i bought 10 years ago and only used it for 1 week and gave up) and start to watch a lot of youtube. Learning bunch of scales until the fretboard become familiar (i skip chords for the moment because i suck at it) and practice it with backing track (noodling and stuff).

Doing it every day for at least 10 minutes a day (usually before going to bed) and when i think i’m good enough, i start recording myself and review it or send it to my friends.

This time i want to upload it to this blog (maybe you will enjoy it, fingers cross). It’s improvisation from this awesome backing track. I call it “Chromatic in D”, because Victor Wooten said the best scale is chromatic scale. I tried to play all 12 notes in my 1 minute solo.
