One day when i’m chatting with my dear friend, she suddenly sings a song 🎶

It’s a Japanese song, that time i paid attention only to her voice, so i didn’t quite catch the meaning of the song (it’s also because the Japanese worker inside my head is sleepy 🤣)

I was quite shocked because she seems to know that song very well, all the lyrics and the pronunciation. As far as i know, she didn’t know Japanese

She ended it with a cute laugh 😆, so i think it’s not that sad of a song. She told me it’s one of her fav songs, so i promised her to tell my version of the interpretation of the lyrics

So the next day i listen to this song all day to get it’s meaning while working. It’s time to make my Japanese worker inside my head do his job 🤣, it was a big mistake 😭

It’s like watching a movie where the closer to the ending it will choke you harder with impending sadness 😭

Yes, that song has my kriptonite, and not only that, it is also sung by my fav singer, HYDE (i know him from L’arc~en~Ciel)

Apparently, this song is also the opening of the anime Attack on Titan

This song is in F major, so when that Bb slides into Bbm @ 00:20, it automatically catches my interest

Then, when the vocals stepped in, i immediately knew that was HYDE

But the best part is when the song takes a little detour to Ab major progression through Db @ 01:59

Ab major progression hit all the minor part of F major

It sounds so melancholy, so emotional, yet so hopeful, so majestic

It invoked my memory, a bittersweet one, the most precious moment in my life 🥹
